Top Rung

After Charlie (a painting elsewhere in this record) , I didn’t think I would ever paint another squirrel. However, this fellow, perched on top of a ladder leaning against a tree in the backyard was irresistible. Working Wet-on-wet, the background was rendered in a soft, out of focus manner.
